CoorB x Tuum partnership

The partnership combines Tuum's cloud-native core banking technology with CoorB's on-the-ground implementation and Shariah advisory expertise, providing core modernization, Islamic banking, Banking-as-a-Service, digital wallets, and embedded finance.

Tuum and CoorB join forces to accelerate Middle East banking transformation

Tuum, a leading 4th generation cloud-native core banking platform provider, and CoorB, a leading digital banking acceleration and financial technology services company, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership aimed at helping banks, fintechs, and financial institutions across the Middle East and beyond accelerate their digital transformation journeys. By combining Tuum's API-first core banking technology with CoorB's deep expertise in digital banking, embedded payments, and financial services, the partnership will enable clients to launch innovative financial products faster, reduce operational complexity, and deliver superior customer experiences.

A comprehensive offering from strategy to growth

Through this collaboration, both organizations will provide a comprehensive offering that supports financial institutions from strategy and design through to implementation and growth. The partnership is expected to help banks modernize their legacy infrastructure, introduce new digital and Shariah-compliant financial services, and respond more efficiently to evolving customer expectations and regulatory requirements across the region. Tuum's proven cloud-native banking platform, combined with CoorB's end-to-end delivery capabilities and regional market expertise, creates a powerful foundation for the next generation of digital financial services.

Powering Islamic banking, BaaS, and wallet-as-a-service adoption

The partnership is also expected to support key industry trends, including the expansion of banking-as-a-service (BaaS) offerings, the acceleration of wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) adoption, and the growing demand for modern Islamic banking propositions across the Middle East. Tuum's Islamic banking capabilities support Islamic banks and windows, offering Islamic accounts and deposits, configurable profit calculation and distribution, and asset-backed financing structures such as Tawarruq. This enables financial institutions to create new revenue streams and deliver embedded financial experiences more efficiently.
